 A fun design for a Mardi Gras themed reception.  This cake is white butter pound cake with strawberry filling.  Frosted with buttercream and covered in fondant.  Reception was held at Oakhurst Country Club in Clayton, Ca.  Serves 150

Shelby

 A small cake for cutting at a second reception for the bride and groom.  It's a lemon cake with raspberry filling.   Frosted with buttercream and covered in fondant.  Serves 35 people.

Courtney

Such a beautiful reception in Brentwood.  I had so much fun creating these three cakes for Courtney and Nick.  The 3 tier cake was dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry filling.  The two smaller cakes were white cake with raspberry filling.  All of them were frosted with buttercream and covered in fondant.

This sweet princess wedding cake is apple spice cake with caramel filling, frosted in buttercream.  Applique sugar flowers and handmade sugar roses.  Serves 200.

This cake is near and dear to my heart, since I made it for my daughter Jamie in May.  We loved her beautiful wedding venue at the Brentwood Community Center.  Her 5-tier cake was two different flavors, white butter pound cake with raspberry filling (a crowd favorite), and delicious carrot cake with orange cream cheese filling, covered in a cream cheese buttercream frosting.  

It was especially fun creating the  flower overlay with all the fun cutters and the sugar flowers with rhinestone centers.  Serves 200 people.

 Ombre cake in mint green cream cheese butter cream with fresh Dahlias.  This cake had delicious combinations!  Chocolate/oatmeal cake with chocolate ganache filling, banana cake with caramel filling, and carrot cake with orange cream cheese filling....YUM!!!

This skyline cake has something different on every side!  The bottom tier is SF (home of the bride), the middle is NY (home of the groom), and the top is Central Park (where they were engaged).   The cake is white butter pound cake with chocolate ganache filling on bottom and strawberry filling on two top tiers.  Pale blue fondant covers all of the tiers, airbrushed silver skyline and ivory gumpaste buildings, statues, bridges and trees.  Topped with NY & CA.

Wedding cake is white butter pound cake with raspberry filling, white buttercream frosting.  Cupcakes are chocolate with white buttercream, vanilla with white buttercream and tiramasu with cream cheese buttercream.

This is a four tier white butter pound cake with raspberry filling. Frosted with a delicious whipped cream/cream cheese frosting. A variety of fresh flowers gives this cake an elegant touch. Serves 130.

Two love birds are waiting for their little pink egg to hatch! This cake was for my niece Jennelle's baby shower. Yum, again a family favorite white butter pound cake with raspberry filling and delicious buttercream.

I took an amazing class from Carrie Biggers in Sandy, Utah and this is the result (but then no way to get it home on the plane).
